History
From humble beginnings with a computer, some samples and a simple music program Skim Milk has embraced digital music production (DMP) and the opportunities it has given to let his skills grow. Despite not actually being able to play any musical instruments DMP has allowed him to try his hand as a composer and over time he has grown more confident and creative as his skills develop.

In 2004 while in Denmark he was approached by the filmmakers from BOTU to create the soundtrack for the award winning Dribbly Meow Meow (gaining a nomination for best original score) and its subsequent DVD release. And so Skim Milk came on board to join the team at BOTU in their cinematic endeavours. In 2005 he composed both the Unquarried Landmass and 1692: The Salem Witch Trials soundtracks and garnered two nominations for best soundtrack at the Mothra Film Festival for his efforts in the same year. Although the prize remained elusively out of his grasp, in 2006 he was back with a vengeance with the soundtrack for Te Whare and Te Furious. In 2006 he also worked on the 48 Hour Film Competition entry Hank Nova: Galactic Defender and the redux version for the director's cut, as well as the soundtrack for Get Rich or Roll the Die Trying.

2007 saw Skim Milk participate once more in the 48Hours competition, composing the soundtrack to Eye of the Beholder within the competition time limits. More recently Skim Milk composed a number of original tracks for the animated Battle Squid feature. He is currently in the studio working on the soundtrack for the 2006 compilation DVD.

Death Wish 1692
Another credits sequence - but nonetheless a freaking awesome one. This moody and ominous track formed the perfect aural accompaniment to the Salem credits sequence, and was part of the overall work which was nominated for Best Original Score at the 2005 Mothra Film Festival.
