Cause and Effect is our 2008 entry to the 48Hours Film Competition. With the specified genre of Time Travel, the film had to include a character named Kerry Post (a perfectionist), a brush as a prop, and "wait a minute" as a line of dialogue.
Using the concept of changes to the past messing with our present, Cause and Effect follows inexperienced Time Traveler Callum (Played by award winning actor Tim) as he tries to rectify changes he has inadvertently made to the timeline. These time travel escapades cover a fair chunk of history, with visits to cavemen, a Roman encampment, Mount Sinai, and a certain young artist in Bavaria. Can Callum fix the timeline?

Making Cause and Effect
We decided that this year we would take a whole bunch of photos to document our 48Hours efforts. Yet again, we all got very busy with the actual film and didn't take many photos. We do however have a bunch of photos taken on location as we filmed our prehistoric and post apocalyptic scenes. Check them out below.
Adolf the ArtistPart of our story involves a young Hitler, quietly painting in the Bavarian countryside. Our resident Matte Painter Mike had the opportunity to fill in our literal blank canvas. So what exactly does a young Hitler paint? It may have been a brief shot, but this picture had me laughing my ass off at 3pm on the Sunday afternoon, and with 48Hours that is something to cherish.
